A tailor made stay in our Bed and Breakfast accomodation
Dar Darek means in moroccan language « home away from home ».
We are a french couple born in the centre/east of France (Franche Comté), and long time owner of a restaurant there. In 2009, we fell in love with Essaouira during a long tour in Morocco. We then decided to start a new life here, in this typical riad, in this amazing town of Essaouira
We are always very happy to share our experience of Morrocco with our guests and to give some good insider tips and recommendations.
Charming and cosy 4 en suite bedroom guesthouse
With only 4 rooms, Dar Darek is intimate and charming. Its capacity is 8-9 people. It is very well decorated with typical material and is very confortable.
Our guests particularly appreciate our availability, the high quality beds, the cleanliness and the charm of our house and also our pretty fresh and very tasty breakfasts (with homemade jams).
Each bedroom is very nice decorated combining a modern and traditional style with materials such as tadelakt and thuja wood. Each of them is fitted with high quality beds and ensuite bathroom and toilet.
